| Our day at Immanuel Genius begins with Morning Circle Time where all our students gather together to participate in various routine activities. First, we pray to Jesus to show our thanks for all that we have. The prayer is followed by a time to sing patriotic songs to show pride in our country. The objective of calendar time is to review days of the week, months of the year, and keeping track of the date on a daily basis, which involves math (counting) skills. We study the weather and seasons to fulfill our science objective to expose children to the various weather patterns and an ever changing climate. Children develop analytical thinking skills as they make connections, hypothesize, and draw conclusions. |
